Cooking with Cinta Senese meat
Grilled steaks and ribs
Tuscan Recipes
One of the most traditional ways of cooking Cinta Senese meat is certainly grilled: a quick and easy recipe. Today we give you some suggestions to prepare it the best way!
Let's start with the ribs
The first thing to do is marinate the Cinta Senese ribs in a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, pepper and aromatic herbs of your taste. Let the meat marinate for at least a couple of hours so that it absorbs all the flavors well then place the ribs on a very hot grill but be careful of the temperature which must not be too high. If the charcoal seem particularly hot, move the grill higher.
While cooking, brush your ribs with olive oil, you can use a brush or, even better, a branch of rosemary!
Let's move on to the steaks
In some recipes, even the steaks are marinated with a mix of extra virgin olive oil and aromatic herbs, if for your taste it is too much, you can also avoid it. If you decide to marinate them, remember not to leave them for more than 30 minutes.
Once you have heated your grill well, arrange the steaks so that they are not too close to the grill, let them cook turning them occasionally so that they get a nice colour.
The cooking time? It can vary from 3 to 7 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the meat.
Enjoy!
